Hugoton Ground Breaking

Gov. Sam Brownback, left, greets Gary Gold, Tony Martin and Pastor Bob Rich, all of Hugoton, Thursday in Hugoton before the groundbreaking for the Kansas Dairy Ingredients dairy processing plant. In its final phase the plant, a $50 million project, will bring 60 jobs to Stevens County. KDI officials have projected the first phase to be completed by Jan. 15, 2013.
